Update: Showing high nitrites and some nitrates so its getting there. Here is a diagram on what I plan on doing for a new water setup. Making things alot easier this time around. Pretty much running a rodi water line under the house and splitting that line. One line will go in the closet to a water change container, the other will go directly to a ATO container. Both lines will have shut off valves and float valves. Pretty excited about the new setup, running a 6 foot hose with pump to my tank from the closet to fill it back up with fresh water for a water change sounds nice and never filling up my ATO again is also nice. Days of carrying 5 gallon containers is almost over.

I am curious to see how you like the Gyre in a few months. I have the same tank and spoke to another user on here who also has the same tank and was using the Gyre. After a few weeks he pulled it because it was to strong on 10% ( for his tank). I want one, but want to give it a year to get all the kinks worked out.

Mines at 10% now during cycling and due to new sand. I'll definitely will be able to turn it up once the sand gets settled. I really like the gyre so far.

I have water getting delivered to my fish tank room! Big deal for me, no more carrying water jugs from the garage.
