Starting a build thread for my starphire reef savvy cube 103 gal tank. Lighting for the tank is:

T5/LED Combo Lighting:
4 – 39w T5s Powered by a IceCap 660
12 - CREE XP-G Neutral White 3W LED with 60° Lens
12 - CREE XP-G R5 Cool White 3W LED with 60° Lens
24 - CREE XT-E Royal Blue 3W LED with 60° Lens
4 - Mean Well ELN-60-48D dimmable drivers

Picked up the tank/stand/canopy today and got it moved in my house. The stand would not fit in the original room where I wanted it so this is where it sits now. I just got done hanging the canopy and rinsing 40 lbs of sand. Will probably add another 20-30 lbs of sand to the tank. I will be using a 40 breeder tank as my sump. I'm just getting started so alot of things still need done. Going to work on the dimmers tomorrow and try and get those wired up to the leds. Will be giving alot of updates. Thanks for looking

Was playing around with my rock so see what kind of scape I want. Feel free to vote your favorite between these two. The pictures make the scapes look small but they are bigger in person.

This is going to be a great build Matt! What other equipment are you using? Skimner, power heads etc? Bio pellets or just gfo?

For the Skimmer Im waiting for some reviews of the new vertex omega 150 to surface. Its either that one or a sro2000INT. For flow Ill probably use 2 mp40s, I really want the clean look of them on the back black glass. Ill probably eventually go bio pellets but Im going to see how it goes for a while. Trying to get the lights done so I can slide the tank back and begin filling with water.

Ok we are now getting wet!! I got the lighting done but I still have to organize everything inside of the stand. Got the scape done to where I like it and I have a nice gap on all sides of the tank to clean the glass. Heres some photos
