Yeah I can document on how it does. According to Reef Octo it will take 4 weeks to break in. It may take longer in my tank because its brand new and not alot of stuff to skim out yet.

There is a way to break it in faster... you need a 5g bucket to set the skimmer up with your water change from your established system. And you will need skim mate from your established skimmer if you dont have one then im sure a local reefer will be happy to give u a cup of skim mate. :D then you pore it into the bucket with the new skimmer... once the new skimmer has pulled it all out dump it back in the bucket and do that a few times and it will be broke in nicely :cool:

My stand came in today for my skimmer which was good timing. Really like the quality of them they are built really well. The skimmer would have fit on 1 but I bought 2 so there would be any chance it could fall off.

The skimmer is up and running now and is very quiet so far.

I like it alot so far. Its really easy to adjust to where I want it to be. Theres a few people that also have this skimmer that I talk to and they have had it a few weeks and its doing really well for them. Heres a pic of of one of theirs after 2 weeks, he said its not fully broken in yet either.
