So my tank is in transit. It left Texas on the 17th. I've been tracking it multiple time a day since. On the 21st it was in Springfield Mass not all that far from Freeport Me where I live. So anyway today I decided to call the shipping company. I was told that they use a partner company to ship from Mass to Maine and it was transferred to that company. So the very nice lady on the phone put me on hold and called them to find out where my tank was, and they didn't know, they had no record of it. She said she would figure it out and call me back. She calls back 2 hours later saying it is still in Springfield! At least they know where it is, right? She said it will be shipping to Maine today and that I should get a call on Monday to set delivery arrangements. I am just a little annoyed. At least it's getting closer!

Baseboard went up last weekend and painted. Rubber pad cut to fit today. Yesterday re ran electrical, and installed 3 of my 6 GFCI outlets. Lastly tank is in Maine, however the shipping company will not deliver it to my house as I was lead to believe by the sales guy I've been dealing with. Basically they will only do curb side delivery. Which will not work because of where I live. So I have to rent a U Haul and go pick it up. It's really frustrating and disappointing. Before my tank was built I was very specific about my shipping needs and was assured it would be no problem. Low and behold exactly what I wanted to avoid is happening. The kicker nobody is willing to take responsibility. The sale guy said they would give me a $15 discount on any equipment I may need. I'm sorry but I paid $475 to have the tank delivered to my house! Any way rant over. I emailed him the email thread we had going regarding shipping we will see what the outcome is. Here are a few pics of the space as it sits now. I'm trying to coordinate with some family to help me get the tank on Friday.

So picked the tank up from the freight company today. And I must say the folks up here in Maine were less than pleasant to work with. I literally got screamed at when I refused to sign the bill of lading before inspecting the contents of my crate. Anyway long story short, my tank is awesome!!!! I am very, very pleased. Tank is in its space! I even installed the Synergy Overflow. I may reinstall it because I was rushing a little. Next up is plumbing. Here are some photos.

AGE uses 1" PVC for the bottoms of the tank, and a powder coated stainless steel rim on the bottom and top of the tank. I have to say this thing is rugged, built like a.... well a tank.

I've never been to Utah I would love to! Maybe next year? I have a huge honey do list on top of the reef list to get done before the baby comes!
Utah is great! Congrats on the baby! Oh and your wife being pregnant!
