Put up the last of the trim today (I think). I ordered my sea-swirl for the return plumbing last week. Depending on how I end up plumbing it will determine whether or not I put up more trim. I am hoping I can just make a cut out above the tank and it will extend over the overflow enough. We will see though. I also got most of my plumbing supplies, and started plumbing today. I had to order my gate valves and check valve from BRS, so there will be a delay until the parts come. I'm hoping that between the sea-swirl and maybe a gyre I won't need any more circulation in the display, but we will see what happens once it's wet. Here are some pics of the trim and beginnings of the plumbing.

Hey Fragit, I like your build and it remind me on my old tank which was also a divider. You make a great job and I can't wait to see the tank wet. [emoji108]

Thanks @Taduga for the compliment. I can't wait to see this wet either! Still have a long way to go, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I know Thompson lake well, it's a beautiful place. Lucky for you it's supposed to warm up. These last few days have been very cool for this time of year. Enjoy our lovely state!

So I won this contest yesterday. I won't get it until some time in September, tank better be wet and running by then. Anyway, I thing I will be placing this strange looking pump on the overflow side of the peninsula in a horizontal position, to see if I can get a gyre like effect from it.

Finished painting the trim tonight. FINALLY, the construction is done. Now I can focus on finishing the plumbing. My Sea-Swirl is supposed to ship out on Monday, Saturday my valves are supposed to show up. I will have to figure out how to mount the Sea-Swirl, but I have some good ideas I think. Next up I need to convince my wife to let me order my lights so I can get this thing wet! Here are some photos of the finished install.
