LOL you barely gave us 10 mins to load the photos. You should be able to see some now. More photos to come!! :)

Lol, I know really. But hey - no rest for the weary :)

Question - due to the tank dimensions and structure (angles) wouldn't a euro type brace be suggested? Then again maybe it wouldn't be possible or work due to the said layout. Was just thinking that is a lot of water. I mean a lot...

Nice job never the less - hope all is well with everyone.

Thanks! The tank is only filled to about the 20” mark.

Once the tank was assembled and given time for the silicone to cure, it was time to add the sand and water. In general, our previous display tanks have mostly been high flow and BB so this lagoon is unlike anything we have had before.

Thanks for the info. I can't wait to see it in person. I have a question on your lighting. I followed the link to your 75gallon radion schedule to use on my similar setup. I installed the template and it was set to 100%. Is that really what you run on that 75?

Why did you choose to make the glass so tall when it’s only 20” deep with water? Just for looks? It does look cool! Unique

Upon first read I was thinking to help keep hands out of it. I really have no idea thought but that is what crossed my mind when I saw the height.

Because the top unfilled part acts as a brace to hold the tank in place. If the glass only went up 20" along with the water it would have to be euro-braced.
