Hey all, looking for fish suggestions for my 120g. It’s been up for a while and has the following:

purple Tang (large and a sissy, but growing a pair)
Orange stripe tang (ugly and aggressive
Blue Tang (cool)
Black and white clown (aggressive-ish)
A pretty large cleaner shrimp

I’m not doing anything hardcore currently (acros) it’s my first big tank (over 30g) so I’m enjoying the larger fishes. Mostly softies and some LPS.

looking for generic suggestions. I’m in LA county so the selection is pretty good with a drive but not looking for crazy boutique fish (like a yellow tang…lol). Have a guy with a pretty crazy selection, but having trouble with fish selection lately.

I'll go ahead and be the first. Tang is already over stocked putting three tangs in it.

My 120g initially was 2 clownfish,3 green chromis, yellow wrasse, coral beauty, yellow belly regal Tang, scopas tang, yellow coris wrasse

The melanurus wrasse i think is a nice addition.

my dream wrasse is the hawaiian flame wrasse…

recently upgraded and can say my blue regal tang seems much more fitting to a 180g and still might eventually outgrow it

have an orange shoulder tang who was adult colored when purchased and regressed colors, not sure why as havent seen anyone pick on him. -not agressive

been fortunate all tangs play well in sandbox

scopas tang is awesome

Love pygmy/cherub angels

Thats my take on fish

You’re missing a flameback or multicolor angel

My orange stripe tang defiantly changed for the worse.
Do you have a lid for the wrasses? Every one I have tried I feel escaped (I have a bunch of other animals, never found evidence…)

My orange shoulder when i got-frickin awesome

second pic that yellow blob

Ive always had glass tops for trying to alleviate evaporation loss

have never had my yellow wrasse jump, died recently but had for like 6-7 years with no issue

only jumper ive had was scissortail goby-and no idea how it jumped or when

How about a blue throat trigger or cross hatched trigger. I've had each in my tank with cleaner shrimp without issues. It is always a gamble, but if you can pull it off they are a great addition. BTW both of those triggers are moderately reef safe.
