Do you have any pics of the tower assembly? I'd love to try that.

Well, it's been a couple of months since updating. Busy with life haha, overseeding a golf course, a deer and elk hunt, the holidays etc.

Here is the latest on my nano...have added a few things including finally some SPS! Tank turns 1 year old on Wednesday. The last 2 months have sen crazy growth. Live rock is slowly disappearing. SPS Ive added are a Bubblegum digi, an unnknown acro, and a Seasons Greetings monti(edge is a little irritated from torch tentacles). Very pleased where this tank is at.

Well, went ahead and joined the GHA club a few months ago, not by choice lol. My punishment for feeding like its Thanksgiving (think snowstorm). Long story short, did the typical manual removal, gravel vac etc. Always came back, so felt I needed a killer to combine with the manual maintenance...enter Fluconazole. I ended up double dose, 7 days apart. Wiped it out clean. Made the manual removal so much easier. I also removed the top half layer of sand as I siphoned. Attention has now turned to getting nutrients back up. N has bottomed, P sits around .02-.06. Ironically the tank looked its best just before the GHA when N was 15-20 and P was .1 ish. Next goal is to upgrade: ditch the 13 gallon for a 20 long. 100% sand replacement. Will be attacking any residual algae on rocks as they get pulled...rip clean Brandon429 style. Not anticipating anything major at this point! Nice Vermetids, I know haha

Tried some new aminos, hence the cloudy water. Cleared right up after an hour or so. And here we are today, no traces of GHA. Getting ready for the switch to the 20 long. Nutrients are still low; N=1, P=.04. Must take a bit to get them up? Ive been slowly dosing a little N and P via Seachem Flourish Nitrogen and Phosphorous. Nano is now officially packed. Anything new goes to the 75. I feel like Im going to very suddenly need a frag tank.
