130 gallon peninsula build

Tile around the tank to cover it up and to minimize water getting onto the carpet.

That's a great idea but if I ever sell the house I don't think people gonna want to buy a house wit a small section of tile in the living room

Toothless coast to coast overflow

Any specific reason for the lack of teeth on the overflow?

The skimming effect of a toothless overflow it's night and day without teeth it has a greater pulling effect

Is it worth the danger of a lg turbo snail making it into one of the drain lines possibly clogging the line? I guess I'm assuming you have lg turbo snails.

I don't do turbo snails on my tanks but I'm installing gutter guard material on the overflow to keep the fish out of there also the Heriberto overflow is design so if one darn fails it has an emergency drain

Ok, but just one more question.....Heriberto.....is that Puerto Rican for Herbie?

Man I really need to start paying attention to the keyboard my iPad auto corrects to much

I'm going to have to look into the gutter guard over the overflow. The snails seem to want to constantly hand out there.
