~130 GPH wavemaker for 14gal cube? Suggestions?

Hi ,

Im looking for a wavemaker, preferably low profile, that is about 130gph. I currently have a HOB that is 125gph and a fluval CP1 that is 265gph. This puts me at 28x turnover rate, which I'm completely fine with.

However, I feel as if the flow could be better if I had two wavemakers facing each other to create turbulent flow.

Any suggestions for wavemakers?
 
If your looking for turbulent flow you may want to consider somethin programmable to shoot across against that cp1.. for a small tank.. amazon has some stuff avaliable.. i wouldnt go big money unless you want something with app controls.. on my fluval 13 i just upgraded my return pump to a sincce 1.0 .. i modded it to have 4 heads instead of the one it came with.. along with that cp1 firing back at it...
 
Hi. I struggled with getting a wavemaker for my lifegard 8.3. I bought a mini hygger wavemaker. It is rated as 1600 gph which was way more than I want or need but is programmable, so I thought I could use the lowest setting. This was too much so I put it in storage snd relied on just the return pump. This resulted in a few dead zones. So I revisited the hygger.
I removed the propeller (not sure if that is the correct term) and trimmed the blades down and tried it. They are soft plastic and cut easily with an exacto knife. I kept doing this until I ended up with 2 small blades (completely removed 2 blades). This works for me at the lowest setting. At higher power it gives an error which is fine by me.

I don’t know the flow rate of course, but it works great in my 8 gallon cube.
