135G A.G.E. Hybrid Cube

Since my 6 line disappeared, I needed a new wrasse and a local had this guy for $25. Been eating prepared foods and in his tank for a long time...

Zoas are growing nicely, Gone from 1 BHBEB to 5 already...these things are popping babies like there no tomorrow!

Wow great growth!

So far all of my Zoas are growing like this! My BHBEB started as a single and is now 5 and Fruit Loops started as 4, lost one mysteriously and now and upto 8. And my Captian Americas have also gone from 2 to 8 polyps. My chalices are having some nice growth too, sps is slow and steady!:nerd:

The proof is in the pudding!

What type of LED fixture did you pick up? Glad to hear your zoas are growing good! My Rasta Colony started 3.5 Months ago with 2 Polyps.. Now were upto 21 with about 6 Babies forming in the front.. So maybe even more in the back. Glad your having success with your LEDs!!

I went with one that I haven't seen anyone else using yet, customized the leds to the layout I wanted. They are full spectrum as well but I'm running way less that most people on a tank my size. I have 4 fixtures but they are only 28 three watt leds per fixture instead of the 48 or 50 that most run.

I modeled my fixtures after Acan Lighting fixtures but used 1/2 the LEDs per fixture, I got four 22" x 4.5" x 1.5" fixtures AND the controller for $580 shipped from China. I had one small issue that required me replacing a solder in fuse, but they allowed me to fix it myself and will still honor the warranty should any other problems arise!

Here's another picture of the amazing coloration and growth I've seen!

Top is from April, bottom pictures are taken within the past 5 days of the same corals.
