Congrats on the new 135 g! With Ready Reef tanks, bottom overflows are common, and setup is a little different than a rear-overflow system. Most people run dual bottom drains plumbed to a sump below: one drain acts as the primary siphon, the other as a secondary/emergency drain. Common setups include two separate drain lines with ball valves so you can balance flow, or a manifold splitting into one return pipe. Make sure the siphon lines have check valves or gate valves for maintenance, and keep an emergency overflow or standpipe in case of blockage. For aquascaping, people often place rock away from the drains to allow good flow into the bottom overflows, and some use a pre-drilled sump section or media baskets to make maintenance easier.
