I really like aggressive/predatory fish anyway I can make my own with my fully cycled 14 gal biocube running for a couple months now with 40lbs of LS and around 20 lbs of LR?

There aren't many aggressive fish you can put in there because it is so small. No lionfish, no puffers, or eels. I would say an angler is your best bet.

Or maybe a smaller species of Trigger, Blue chins are nice, i have a pair, they are small and can be kept in groups with a male and several females depending how big the tank is :)

But then again they're also one of the species that aren't predatory...

hmm, anglers are nice though, they can just be a bit boring, i know what you mean about the predatory fish being good...

What about inverts, maybe a mantis shrimp? they're pretty awesome!

A mantis would be perfect. Good idea! :)
