14 gallon Nuvo FOWLR tank
The plan is to start with a FOWLR. I plan on stocking the tank with a pair of clowns and going barebottom.
I hope to eventually transition into a reef, mainly dominated by soft corals as I progress in my journey. I will be purchasing Live Rock I believe from TBS
I will be relying on water changes and mechanical filtration (filter floss) as my main method of nutrient export
My philosophy this time around is to do less and only approach issues with solutions I feel comfortable executing - slow and steady, documenting the good and bad
I will be going FOWLR, hopefully for at least a year (please patience, stay with me). In the meanwhile I will be testing PO4 (Hanna) and NO3 (Salifert), and of course Salinity and Temp.
I do have a 6 stage RODI from BRS from my previous tank
Here is my set up :
- Nuvo 14 w/ mesh lid
- Eheim Jaeger 75W
- Tunze 3155 Osmolator ATO
- Kessil A160 w/ arm mount
- 326 GPH return pump (stock)
I would appreciate it if you guys could join me for the ride. I hope to help others through my documentation. I will keep everything simple as to be able to allow others to easily learn from my journey !
