Hey guys, been a member for a while I barely get time to really go through all what this forum has to offer but figured I’d throw my reef up here. I don’t see many 1/2 circle tanks.
My reef is a 144 1/2 circle.
Tank sits on a custom made stand with custom canopy and matching cabinets.
I need to reorganize my apex in the one cabinet so it’s a bit of a mess right now.
Equipment:
Trigger emerald 39 sump
Lifereef skimmer
redsea filter sock cups with poly fill
Jebao DC10000 return pump
Apex system with
ATO
Wav
And automatic water change DOS
I use a fire tablet for my apex display
Lighting 2 Hydra 26’s and 4 T5’s
Fritz pro salt (switched from aqua forest probiotic)
I don’t dose anything be cause my DOS changes 2 gal a day and my coral demand isn’t high enough that I need to make additional dosages.
I feed Rods frozen, OSI flake with garlic and Selcon
Oops, I do dose redsea NO3 POx-X
My Fuge has cheato and I run Red Grow LED with opposite light schedule as main tank.
The photos are taken 1 month since our recent move so things are still getting settled and I’m still playing with settings and staging of coral and equipment.
I’m sure there is much more I’ve forgotten but I’ll add it in later posts.

Hope you enjoy and I’d love feed back and advise. I’ve been in the hobby many years but I love learning and listening to others too so please don’t hesistate to comment.

Thanks guys.

Oh and I have a 29gal seahorse tank. I threw a pic of that in there too

Nice 144! I like the stand! Mine is sitting on the stock stand! You are 1 of 4 that I know of here running that tank. :)

Nice I’ll have to look at your thread! I never see our tanks so it will be nice to see what u have done with yours.
I just got rid of the stock stand before we moved cause that thing was on its last leg and falling apart.
My cousin made this stand for me. We just need to finish the doors which we plan on gettin done in the next week or so.

I've never owned a cylinder nor 1/2 cylinder but have always thought they look so cool and yours is certainly cool and beautiful!

I love what you've done with the 144g and the nano type.

Thanks so much and I like to see more of your pics for a good *drool* session.

Beautiful stand. I am in need of 2 glass doors for my 144. Can anyone help me out?

I also have an oceanic 144 and often thought “what would I do if I broke these curved glassdoors?” I decided I wouldn’t use glass, I would use black plexiglas and bend it to the correct shape.

hope that helps some.
