That is a _beautiful_ tank!

Everything seems brilliant, healthy and perfectly proportioned within the little grotto that is their home.

What's the creature crawling up the left side glass?

@ Maritimer

Thank you! You mean the one with tentacles? That's a rainbow bubble tip anemone. In the picture it's attached to the underside of the rock on the left side, but there's an opening to the left and that's where it pokes through to get its light. This picture is older - the anemone had gotten HUGE and was taking over the tank so I sold it.

Yes it is.
Just a word of caution. I have had 2 of these and the bottom busted on both. First one lasted over 2 years, 2nd lasted 3 weeks. On a positive note, I have a new top if you want it.

Sorry to hear that. This one is about 5 years old and it's been hauled around (full) in a uhaul from Atlanta to NYC (couldn't bear to part with it). If I ever need to replace the LEDS, I'll keep you in mind for the tops - I'm pretty sure the screws are rusted shut now so there's no way to take off the LED fixture without hacking the top apart! *fingers crossed*

I just bought the Aqueon Column for this build. Not sure if this tank is still running, but I'd love some feedback on things that went well, or things that you'd do differently?
