Question - Can I keep a chalk bass, Midas blenny and a yellow head jawfish in a 19 gal (found out it’s just a 10 dollar diferrence)

Thanks a lot. I do plan on upgrading tanks to about a 50 gal in 2 years time. The tank I’m planning to buy will be drillable and I’ll hook up a sump in 4 months ish time. For starting Ill just use a basic hob. The AI prime light is expensive as heck here. Would a lominie pixie 30 work? All the reviews say it has a pretty nice par and its cheap.

Thanks a lot for all those replies :). I don’t think I’ll be buying a ps2 or a dosing pump, and I wont get a pistol. I don’t think and Ato rn would be doing any favours to my budget lol. Maybe Later

I have a pistol/goby in 15 gallon cube. And, I run a 2 head dosing pump, one head doses AFR and the other is used as a ATO.

I know that most lps need Atleast a 3 month old tank, so I don’t plan on adding stonys until my tank is mature enough. Also what do I need to dose? And will 2 cheap Amazon Powerhead works?

One Jebao SLW-5 is all you need, really at this point just copy my build. It is what you are trying to build any way.

Alright I’ll check it out, though I don’t wanot to use a dosing pump at the start, maybe later. BTW how much flow for a 20 gal In litres? 3000l (800gph) ok?

In 15 gallons you NEED a ATO of some kind. A dosing pump or purpose built. Everyone has told you that for a reason, you can listen or learn the hard way.

The normal advice is 10x the volume in flow, so 20 gallons needs 200 GPH.

Alright, but most sources say 20 - 50 times. I do also plan on keeping sps down the line (2 years maybe)
