150 Lagoon Build

A few photos of my first new reef tank build. I’ve had smaller tanks that were purchased from other getting out of the hobby but this is my largest and first new one from scratch. I’m taking my time with it and hope to post the whole process and not mask any errors or failures along the way. Suggestions are always welcome

thanks, we've put a little time in it trying to keep it from looking like rocks were just thrown in. I feel like it needs something else, I'm just not sure what. I'm still playing around with rock trying to figure it out

I think it looks great as it is. I made the mistake of going to high with my aquascape and am not sure I will be able to put much on the top. I think the height of yours is perfect. Also, you have to envision what it will look like when the coral grows out as it will fill up the tank.

I got the same tank setup not long ago. It’s incredible. Congrats and looking forward to livestock.

Thank you! Hopefully, I’ll be adding a couple fish soon. Probably going to be first to mid March before I turn lights on and move some coral into it.

this is my most recent pics, I finally have the tank fully cycled and slowly adding fish. I'm hoping that I have the will power to keep the lighting off for at least another couple weeks to a month
