This tank may be small for the purple dottyback. I rescued it from a local Petco and cured it’s infections months ago. All happy and healthy now. Well, he has a nice cave setup and I am concerned that he will potentially kill any new fish.

I know that they have a reputation. Would you add another fish to the system? If so what? I can remove it when a new fish is added and add it back secondarily.

I was thinking a pair of ocellaris clowns.
However, my local Petco tried giving me a neon dottyback today for free because the owner said that it killed hundreds of $$ worth of his fish. Probably a bad sign.

That would be the two more aggressive dottybacks in a 15g, with a single cave setup. Would this guarantee disaster?
