180 build

Well I have been wanting to try and do a build thread for a while and figured I would take a chance with this one. I purchased and use 180 oceanic tank and stand for a steal of a price. And today I am doing a leak test on it. I will be drilling the back to add an eshopps over flow and for some returns. Will be the first time drilling a tank and already checked no tempered glass. I currently have a 75 gallon tank that I will be transferring everything over once I get all the plumbing set up and for a week I'm going to plumb it in with my current tank just to cycle all the water. #wiscoreefer

Yes I did. 3 other people made it very easy

Well everything is transferred but I am horrible about taking pictures to document thing. I still have some things to button up but and fix the rock work cause it definitely didn't stay together. #wiscoreefers

Looks good. Oceanics are well built as I own one and was in the 90's and early 200's aleader in tank setups

Are you glueing or cementing the rock together?

It was glued and later on added some epoxy as I had some rocks move on me but none of it stayed together from one tank to the next so I'm going to have to do some research on how to better get them to stay where I want them.

I agree I remember them being the tank to have. I was nervous drilling for the over flow but all went smoothly.

Well did some rearranging of the rocks and happy for now. I think in the future I'll do a new landscape. This tank is much taller then the old one. I will have to get another light to fill the extra 2 feet of tank. But so far so good on everything.
