No strategy. Skimmer runs dry and I don't pull a lot. Chaeto gets harvested when the chamber is packed full. I change my reef diapers when they're overflowing.

Great tank. That naso is huge. Did you get him that big or he just old? Had a naso for 5 years got him little and still never got that big.

Notice you run your phos high. Any issues with that? Mine gets to .2 and i get concerned

Thanks. I've had the Naso for almost 7 years. She was a little thing 2-3 inches when I got her. She is one of the few fish that I managed to save when I had a velvet outbreak a couple of years ago so she is special to me.
As to phos I don't really target any certain number. I just keep an eye on the tank and inhabitants. I did add a little gfo to my carbon the last change that brought it down to 0.55 lol. I've been down the rabbit hole several times through the years chasing certain numbers but finally decided to just step back and let it do it's own thing and it's probably the best decision I made. I have 2 other younger systems running that are sps dominant that keep me busy.
