I like the look of all white. enclosed would be nice with regards to light spill. but with that much open water surface, you'll need to be very careful with moisture and heat control within that "canopy".I did have a question about enclosed peninsula…. What do u guys think? Cement gray/black or white tile?
or keep the top open????
I still think if you can hang the light "array" a little lower, with center row pointing straight down (used wide angle secondary/attached lens), and the two side rows point toward center in a slight angle, you might be able to manage the light spill better, and give the room the airy space you initially looked for.
your tank reminds me a lot of this one, see how he uses the bracket to help keep everything level, yours could have a third row down the center.
