Just got my first clam wanted to know a few tips or best care to keep it happy any tips are greatly appreciated thanks

I'm running 3 Hydra 52 LED lights wondering if there's any specific settings I should try

Has it opened any more than in the pictures? The mantle should extend over the shell when it is fully settled in and in a spot that it likes. I'm not sure on settings for a Hydra 52 but I shoot for at least 200 PAR for a maxima.

Keep an eye on your calcium levels. clams will use a lot of calcium.

I am of the school to get them as much light as you can. There are other schools that are "X is enough," but I am not a graduate of those.

It will want to attach to a rock, or something. These are rock-dwelling clams. The most recent position looks good if there is enough light there.
