Looks like a Kenya tree.

If you have the option. Load a larger picture size.

It look like your pasting a thumbnail rather than embedding the the pic.
Your pics are 500 x 1000 so the size is fine

Thanks for replies. I will work on improving my picture taking and posting skills. The Kenya Tree softy was a very tiny hitchhiker that came on a small plug of scrambled egg zoas. It is one of the few corals that are growing faster than I would like.

Kill it with fire. Seriously.

The more exotic colored Kenya Trees are pretty cool and somewhat slow growing.
The regular Kenya tree is also beautiful, however it grows faster than crabgrass.
If you were already annoyed at its growth rate you will be absolutely horrified 6 months from now.

I would remove it simply by pulling it off the rock.

Then monitor that spot on the rock for at least several months because it will most likely grow back.

You may need to kalk paste that area of the rock in the future to keep it from growing back.

They are absolutely beautiful in the right situation. Just very prolific.

Currently we have a super neon green Kenya tree and two officially regular neon green Kenya Trees.
;-)
Just ordered a super neon green Palau Kenya tree.
The current super neon green is about 5 months old and hasn't produced a baby yet. So far it has just tripled in size.

The two regular neon green are just three month old and finally coming into their own.

But you couldn't give me a regular Kenya tree or a rock it was grown on.
Been down that road already. ;-)

Thanks for advice... I will keep a careful eye on it. It is at a spot where I can easily remove it which may happen this weekend after the NY show and I need the space for the new corals I'm going to buy.
