Hi all!

Decided to make the IM 10g a softie/nem tank. What would be a cool set of softies to grow in here? Things that won't take over. Xenia, Kenyas and GSP (the non-branching variety) are off the table here--not enough room to manage them. I'll also probably stray away from zoas/palys since I have a lot of them in my main tank and would like something different here.

Currently has:
1. a plague paly rock (covered with nuclear death palys)
2. Toadstool

Planned addition:
1. RBTA

Current ideas:
1. Gorgonians
2. Branching GSP
3. Cabbage leather?
4. Sinularia? Anything not green?
5. Waving hand anthelia? https://topshelfaquatics.com/collections/soft-corals/products/waving-hand-anthelia-coral
6. Vargas Cespitularia? https://topshelfaquatics.com/collections/soft-corals/products/vargas-cespitularia-coral

Any cool ideas?

Rhodactis Mushrooms?
When my red and green ones split in the 40, I can move one of each over. Qas thinking of adding different softies to this one though.

Maybe some discos on a sand bed rock? They might be a bit hard to control.

Maybe a big St Thomas shroom?

I wouldn't do the BTA. The IM nuvo 10 is pretty small. That BTA's going to end up touching a lot of the softies when everything expands

Mushrooms and leathers would be cool. I know you said no GSP, but a back wall full of it would look awesome.

Oh really?

;)

I have that enormous black widow in my 40, but next to it is an RBTA that splits frequently and hasn't gotten to half the size of the widow before. No idea why. I am planning to place that guy on the rock and see what happens. If it starts getting big or wandering I'll pull it back to the 40.

A weeping willow toadstool and some discos would be cool
If love a true weeping willow. I have a long tentacle toadstool that was mistaken as a willow by the last owner but it's not a true weeping willow.

Giving the discos a real think.

Haha, not for me! I'd hate scraping off the chunks that start growing on the glass and, if worse comes to worse, the overflow!

I do have an accidental back wall of palys starting in the 40...
