I am wiring a workhorse 7 t5 ballast and I’m trying to understand how to do so. I found the diagram online and I have a questions. When connecting the red wires do you use 2 small pieces of wire and then connect them to red wire off the ballast?or do you use 1 jump wire so you would basically have the wire from the ballast going into the encap and a jump wire going from one side of the cap to the other. Basically 2 wires on one side with one of them connecting to the other side. one more question when wiring the plug there is only a white and black cord so no ground wire. What is the recommendation for that?
Thx

1. electrically both are the same. Do which ever is cleaner.

2 The case of the ballast should be grounded.

The yellow I can just connect to one and then use a small wire to jump to each end cap correct?

A short wire, yes Make it the same gauge as the incoming wire.

This assumes you have a way to securely connect 2 wires in the end cap to one terminal

Ya unsure if they will both fit. If they do not I’ll just make a y shape with a wire nut connecting them
