My dad has a tank that is 47.25"L x 17.25"W x 22.75" H and has 2 AI Hydras and 1 AI Vega. The Vega is in the middle of the Hydras. We have a backup/emergency tank downstairs that is 35.5"L x 14.5"W x 17.75"H that we put a extra AI Vega on it. Does the 47.25" long tank need that Vega, could we just run the two Hydras and then move that Vega to the downstairs tank so that one has two Vegas?

Each hydra has a 24"spread so you should be fine.
