Probably in like 6 months. They grow fast. For both the animal and your sake you should pass.

I wouldn't buy it until I had a setup big enough to home it. Realize your are talking about needing a bigger tank in a matter of months.

Both pacific blue (hippo/regal/Hepatus) and Atlantic blue will quickly outgrow a 3’ tank.
