Tridacna maxima. Looks like a nice clam. I like the blue and gold

Thank you yes the gold was what kept me interested also on the derasa,

Btw anyone reading this they will give a 20% off on the derasa it’s a tad much for a derasa I believe at $100 but it’s about 5” probably a tad less, but that gold and blue rim really looks nice i must admit it’s not the normal Derasas I’ve seen before

Wow. Stunning clam!

Fwiw the toughest little clam I have had came from Petco. It was tough enough to live through my local Petco, which isn't very nice, I figured it was a strong one!

Unfortunately that previous clam didn’t last 2 weeks in my tank it slowly perished my strawberry conch just had the urge to drag it all over the place and I think I moved it too much eventually it ended up next to my lobo which I think it’s sweepin tentacles finished it off during a long weekend away smh(always when your away things happen)

I gave up on petco but walked in over the weekend and found the actual original clam I wanted which was a derasa not the color I wanted but this one has very good pontential so decided to give it a 2nd try brought home this lil baby and it’s doing great
