in the past 7 days (or so) my 2 clown fish have started nipping at feather duster worms - both when "feathers" are out and retracted.
these worms and fish have been in the tank for months, without any notable interaction.
my only guess is that the clowns are doing "mating" things and this is part of there preparation...
i have only been in the hobby for about 14 months.
any thoughts, info, ideas please - thanks
90 gallon with sump, t-5 lighting, (tangs, gobby, clowns, soft, and LPS corals, etc.)
