I have 2 Maxspect 250 Gyres on a single controller for sale for $275 shipped. I will include the a few extra pump parts that came with the pumps when I bought them.
I presently have them operating in my tank. I set them up a few days ago, but have decided to sell them because they are too powerful for my softies in my 190 set at 10%. I’m going to go with a pair of 330s instead, so that I can have a little more control at a slower speed of flow.
The only things wrong are:
1. The controller is a little bit dim and difficult to read, but still quite useable. I set the pumps up on an Auto program that changes every hour over a 24 hour period.
Most people don’t run them like this. It takes a considerable amount of control settings to do this and I was able to set this controller up like this with a little patience.
2. The controller does not have a mounting bracket. I have PMed the original owner, but he didn’t reply.
When I first set the pumps up, one of the pumps had a high pitched whistling noise. I swapped out the pump cages and bearings. The pumps have been dead silent since doing this.
