2 MP40s VS 3 Nero 5s

I'm putting together my build list for my WB 190.5 SPS dominant tank that I'm hoping to get ordered in the next couple of months.

I have always run the Ecotech's in the past but for the same price for two of them I can get three Nero 5s. I just don't know if adding the 3rd pump makes up for the features and powere of the MP40s.

What do you guys think?

Search Nero 5 on this site. People are having trouble with the magnets.

Vortech for sure. Easy to clean and not as many issues as the Nero.

Definitely the vortech for sure. The 190.5 is 3/4” glass and the Nero won’t work.

I just had healthy Canary Blenny sucked into the back of the Nero 5. When I contacted Ai they told me they were not responsible. I asked if they had any plans for a foam insert like on the Vortechs and they said no.

Based on my experience and the fact that the Nero 5 is only rated for 1/2 inch glass go with the Vortech!
