So I have been dosing two part for a while now and it seems my Calcium levels remain low. I notice quite often a hard chalky substance from one of the tubes. Assuming calcium precipitation. I use apex dos and dose both parts at the same time. I recently read on here that they shouldn’t be doses at the same time/place. I dose during the light cycle as I have been told that will lessen the impact on my pH.

So should I move one tube to a different part of my sump and continue to dose this schedule, or should I set one of the two parts to the opposite time schedule.

Thanks
Kent

I dose on an alternating 2-hour schedule, ie: alkalinity, then calcium/magnesium, then repeat.
Yes, I have been thinking avmbout that, but with APEX kind of a pain, until I get the right dose to change many times. But that is probably lazy and I should just do it.
