Upgrading from a reefer 170 to a 250. Right now I have 2 Ai primes on the 170 and thinking of adding a third on the 250 so I don’t waste my budget on totally new lights. Growing the heck out of some Sps now with the two. Will 3 be ok? Not planning any super light intensive SPS and I get 220-300 par up high on the rocks now and the 250 is the same height. What do y’all think.

Sounds like a good plan. I have been mulling adding a 3rd prime on my 40 breeder to better light my frag racks on the side of my display.

What are your current and desired PAR values?

That is the only real way to tell.

I recently upgraded my e170 with an extra ai prime but seem to be bleaching a birds nest frag and Jack o lantern lepto...
What intensity are you running both your primes?

This plan sounds ok, but pay attention as SPS grow larger, as shading could become an issue with the spot LED lighting
