Hi all, I'm new here.
As the title states, is 2 xr30 g3 pros overkill for a 60g cube.
I see that people use a single xr30 over their cube and have good results, so i was thinking the extra clusters would benefit the tank with the better coverage.
This will be an all high light acro and sps tank.

You'll be fine. I run 3-Kessil 360's and 4-24in T5 retrofits over my 3 ft. tank. I need to upgrade to 3 ft. T5's here soon. I have lots of Acropora myself.

So your not nuts using the 2 Radions over a relatively small footprint?
I think 1 would do the trick.

If you're going to grow SPS heavily then having a lot of light coverage is a good thing.

Yeh i know its a good thing, just sounds like such an expensive way to light a small cube.
But i guess that your coverage would be closer to t5s and its totally customizable with no bulb replacements.

I have a lightly used Kessil A360we Tuna Blue, comes with gooseneck and spectral controller. Light used for less than a month. No higher than 40% intensity. Comes with blank warranty card. If you want to trade Lol, i am looking for a Radion for my 60 cube.

Any other thoughts?

I think you could easily get by with one....I run two on my SPS dominate 105G tank, and only run them around 50%.
