I’ll take a full shot right now! I added more rocks yesterday and have 14 coral frags I’m adding tomorrow so I’ll be posting more then. I’m currently using a styrofoam box as my light stand until my mount comes in two days so please excuse the ghetto DIY! I upgraded to the AI Prime 16HD and it made a huge differenceI like it im setting up a 20 long, I like your stock and good pictures! Do you have any full tank shots ? Looks good keep it up! R2R!
Thank you! I planned out the aquascape according to the coral I wanna keep! I’m 19 and broke a bunch of bones in a car accident last December so I’ve had all the time in the world to research how they grow and plan it out. The rocks were actually an impulse decision yesterday and I had no plan with them until my hands were in the tank. I hadn’t even seen the rocks until about 30min before I set this up lolLove the FTS, some serious color popping out! Your aquascape is really well designed too, the 20 long really helps out with space it seems.
Thank you! I use the PolypLabs lenses! There’s a yellow lens and a macro lens but they have a bit of reflection to them if you don’t zoom in a little and/or make sure it’s completely dark around and behind you. At least this was my experience with my iPhone XRGreat shots! What lens are you using to take your photos?
Dude you've got some beautiful pieces in there.A couple of new additions plus a much happier hammer!
Thank you!!!Dude you've got some beautiful pieces in there.
Thanks! It’s been fun figuring everything outvery nice...
14 in one day is quite a haul. Were these fish store finds or ordered?Thank you!!!
I got a little carried away in an auction but I got all 14 for a total of $410 so it wasnt bad! The fish were all from my local fish store. I’ve had the tank up and running for a little less than four months, but the first month I had a broken refractometer which took me a bit of time to figure out. So really, it’s been running for almost three months! I really love my softies (mostly zoas and shrooms) as well as Euphyllia and “Chalice Corals”! Anything else in the tank is odds and ends that I liked! I want it to grow out nicely within the next couple of years. I plan for a zoa garden to the right, bordered by mushrooms to help contain growth, with a mushroom garden toward the center. I’m leaving the highest spots open in case I ever decide to try SPS. If not, I’ll probably end up showcasing my favorite mushrooms there or letting the Davis grow out over a good portion of it. I hope the two chalice frags grow out into nice size colonies and really don’t know what to expect with them entirely, but that’s part of what makes those two so exciting! The last debate is a galaxea garden on the bottom left island. If not, I’ll let the one I have now grow out across it! Eventually I’ll get a bigger tank and move the tank to it. If I can’t do that in a reasonable amount of time to keep the fish happy, I’ll take it to the LFS or give it to a local hobbiest14 on y one day is quite a haul. Your build starts a bit abruptly, what's the history on the tank. What are you into? What's the vision for it?
Yes a Sonic the Hedgehog Galaxea! I love it and it has a crazy long sweeper tentacle that it showed for the first time tonightGalaxea?
