Yessir. I saw the placement. Good job.

My first WWC auction was 18 corals and I wish only 450!
thanks! I’ve said this on about 1000 threads now, but I‘m 19 and was in a car accident in December and broke both legs, ankles hips, etc. I’ve had more than enough time to read about coral and I spend almost all day every day reading about coral and working on my tanks.

I was worried about my chalice frags being close to the mushrooms and fox coral, but, so far, I haven’t seen any sweepers on either of them. I’ll keep looking though!

hahaha I got pretty lucky honestly! Especially for some of the corals I got like the Funk Master Krak/Predator zoas for $95!

Looking good. Out of curiosity, which direction is the water flowing here?
I have a wave maker that keeps them swaying back and forth lightly. I’ve always read they like medium to high flow, but mine seem to do best in lower flow.

Good stuff. Be aware that soon, your hammers will start sending out sweepers 2x the size of their bodies. If the rfa is downstream so to speak, it'll be in direct line of fire. Even being an anenome, I've got a feeling it will lose that battle.

Ive been wondering when they would send out sweepers. I’ve had one hammer for maybe about a month now, and the yellow for two weeks, but neither have let them out yet, that I’ve seen. I do have a backup option if they become a problem! My 10 gallon is also currently being cycled to be an anemone tank so hopefully the timing will work in my favor. As soon as my hippo tang has been cured from ic I can convert it from the QT to a tank for just my BTA and RFA

That one yellow hammer is gorgeous!

Also, the yellow skirted zoa looks almost like a GMK. Stunning.
Its one of my most expensive corals but definitely worth the money!

About the zoas, great eye! They’re actually Funk Master Kraks/Predator zoas. Not as crazy priced as GMK, but still close, and equally as uncommon!

Oh wow getting a bit close! Have you ever seen sweepers on your chalice? Like the hammer, I’ve heard lots about them, but haven’t seen them yet.

Very nice not sure how I missed this one. Well done and great selection of corals and color. Totally popping in here.
So is the Funk Master Krak just another name for the Predator zoas? Or different all together? Wife is after some zoas and I told her only fire zoas from here on out lol

Thank you! I have a thing for orange and yellow coral but have been making sure to have some contrast in there.
Yes, they’re the same. Funk Master Krak is what @Pieces of the Ocean named them! I emailed them, and they said they were the original owners of the zoas, but that “Predator” was the name that stuck with most people
