Very true but blood parrots are one of the few deformed hybrids that are completely unaware of their problems. They act completely fine (is actually the dominant cichlid among a jd and convict and eats before everyone else).

Also I’m not a fan of their hump, but flowerhorns are the perfect cichlid. Beautiful colors, insane aggression, and one of the smartest.
