What happened?
Nothing happened. I just decided to sell all MH equipment. I have a thread of what I have.

I have said before that MH are awesome. I ran them for 20+ years.

I have been running leds for over a year now. From my limited led experienc I can honestly say leds grow corals just as well as halides if you know how to maintain a system.
Their is really no need for threads that discuss whether one is better than the other.
Their is so much more to a systsm than light.
Anyway leds will only get better as time passes.

I may start a new thread now that the halides are gone.
Tanks 3 months. I removed 2 large slimer and purple stag frags. I added 13 new today. I plan to run with this setup for a year. Par meter should be here this week.
Runing the K7 V3 12" off the surface. Running the sps setting but I reduced full power an hour.
Today.

There are no results, lol. I ran the halide for 2 months then sold both de units.
I did keep a 250 mogal and a de 150 as I have bulbs.

I just hung the K7V3 last Thursday so I plan to run it for 1 year min.
So far it looks good.
12" off the surface I get 250 par at 8" depth or 1/2 way down. I plan on adjusting output later.
I also have a shade comming for it this week

I just started A4R yesterday. I was dosing 12ml of esv 1&2 twice a day so 24ml total. Should take a week or so to dial it in.
