I appreciate that a lot, I’m only 19 but I’ve poured my heart and soul into this tank. It is my baby haha. You have a pretty awesome build yourself!Your tank has some color. Looking good.

Well your passion and hard work is showing. Thanks for the compliment but what my tank needs is more of what your tank has going on. Good work.I appreciate that a lot, I’m only 19 but I’ve poured my heart and soul into this tank. It is my baby haha. You have a pretty awesome build yourself!
Thank you so much, you have no idea how much it means to hear that! And don’t worry I would bet that you aren’t all that far away, it just takes more time to fill out bigger tanks. But when they are full, they are jaw dropping. And from what I see on your build thread you are also a very dedicated and passionate reefer, and with those things the sky is the limit!Well your passion and hard work is showing. Thank you so much!Beautiful tank Taylor! Absolutely following
Sorry for the late response but I didn’t use any presets. I made my own schedule based on what I thought looked good and I slowly raised the power over months. I run my lights kind of long too, if you run your lights high or for long make sure you have adequate flow for all your corals otherwise they won’t be able to expel the byproducts/toxins produced by photosynthesis. I want to start cranking my whites up too to get more par but if I do that I’d have to switch to mainly sps. Also as you can see I have all colors except blues and purples ramp down towards the end of the day, that’s just more for the aesthetic tho.Beautiful whats your lighting schedule? Are you using any presets? Ive noticed alot of AI presets are all geared toward SPS dominant tanks
Thanks man! Can’t wait to upgrade!Nice nano! Keep it rockin.
Thank you! And yea I ran into many issues, many of them were dumb issues mostly caused by over feeding or overstocking my tank but the biggest issues I had were coral warfare and getting my nurtients in check. It takes a lot of attention to detail to watch corals that are all like 1-4 apart, tried to find stuff that could touch and stick those in the same area. But I am running into a serious issue of space, and I have a bunch more frags on the way haha. The bad part about what I’m doing is that I can only grow stuff on the frag plugs because most of the corals can’t touch but can be super close so I will have to move them as they grow and as the number of tanks I have grows lol. But getting my nutrients to a low and stable level was the biggest issue I had mainly because i overstocked the tank, but now my nitrates are at like 5. I’d like to raise them to at least 10-15 if I can to increase growth and coloration. Phosphates used to be super high but i used lanthium chloride to take care of that and since then had no algae issues whatsoever. But now my phosphates are at like .02 I’d like to get them at .03-.05 for color and growth but I don’t wanna play mad scientists until I get the Hannah checkers because doing all those tests by hand can get to be a lot lol. If you have any questions about corals touching tho please let me know I’d be happy to help!Beautiful looking tank! Amazed at the coral stocking density! Did you run in to any struggles through the past 1.5 years?
Here is an issue I ran into awhile back in my 120.Thank you! Nice. Im running 2 16HD's on my 18" cubed nano.Sorry for the late response but I didn’t use any presets. Nice! I like the bashsea frag racks, I have one on the bottom left of my tank. I’m glad you have 2 lights for that tank because another issue I’m running into is major shadowing, was actually thinking about getting a orphek bar to even it out.Nice. Im running 2 16HD's on my 18" cubed nano.
Its going to be 90% stags from my 120 and frag system.
The prime HD lights are looking good and I am going to put 3-4 on my 45 frag system to replace the 250 watt halide I currently run.
Frag system is a little cloudy as I just rearranged the rocks to add 2 more 6x11 Bashsea frag racks.
Orpheks are quality. I have learned from my 120 that 48" bars are not needed on a 48" long tank.Nice! I like the bashsea frag racks, I have one on the bottom left of my tank.
