What type of Algae Scrubber are you using? Beautiful tank!

I've just been using my refugium for nutrient export. I turned off the scrubber because it was using up too much nutrients and some of the coral were suffering.

Stunning tank. Seriously this deserves TOTM. I'd love to watch a new video showing all the acros especially.

What a stunning tank to discover on a chilled morning off work, watching mine wake up (England).
I absolutely love your fuge, great selection of macros, I'm a big fan of natural nutrient export.
Hat's off to you! :)

Last month was rough for my reef. Not sure what exactly went wrong. Maybe low alk or salinity that was tad low? I lost a couple colonies in the lowest point and had some browning. I think once a big colony goes the large amount of nutirients it releases into the water causes bit of havoc. Who knows for sure, but I think it has turned the corner. Glad I had the refugium as it obviously sucked up a lot of the nutrients as the algae practically doubled in size overnight. I could see how without this dynamic nutrient export a "crash" could happen fairly easily with so many animals stuffed in a little box. Oh and my zoas sure were happy with the death; they grew fast for once.

Here's a few pictures I took tonight.
