Tanks been up for 2 years but never made a build thread on here. I just did one on my local clubs site. So I figured I would post a link up here of it.

Here is where the tank is at today.

I have 2 200 watt eheim jager heaters controlled by a ink bird and a 500 watt titanium backup heater controlled by my apex.

I just finished looking at each page of your build. First of all very well done, very impressed with the growth you have had.

I started with a 29G then to a 75G and I have a 225 I want to build, so very interested in your build. I have done 2 part in the past but I think you have convinced me to go Calcium reactor, I was looking at Geo, but it looks like avast is working for you. On my 75 I would run my skimmer air intake from outside to help with PH but I have read CO2 readings even from outside are not as good as using a CO2 scrubber. So I think I will be adding that into the plan. I went a bit crazy and bought 2 MP60, this may be overkill but I figure they can run very low, and I can always bump up when needed after the tank grows and more flow is needed.

I still have not made up my mind about lights, I see you went back to T5s, I had T5s on my 75 for years and then just got tired of changing bulbs, went to G4 radions, they grow coral but I didn’t love the look (disco), so not sure what direction to go. I don’t think I will ever use fritz salt mix, sorry for what you went through. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs so we all can learn from each other, we are all trying to provide the best care we can for the amazing tank inhabitants that are in the aquarium. You have provided a great habitat and it shows how much you care for each of them. You should take great pride in your tank. Thank you again for sharing with us. Mark
