Hello! So, I'm setting up another tank... My current build is here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/bubblemytips-90-gallon-sps-dominant-tank-build.386598/

Not sure what I'll do with this one - connect it to my display as run as a frag tank or run it completely separately as a soft coral/LPS tank. Some of the equipment will not be necessary if plumbed into the main tank, but I already own it, so can make a decision later. Anyway, equipment breakdown:
  • 50cm x 50cm x 40cm (W x L x H) 10mm acrylic tank - custom made by a local acrylic smith
  • Synergy Reef Shadow Overflow 16"
  • Ultra Reef U-40 charge system
  • Reefer 170 stand
  • Custom glass sump
  • Return - Tunze 1073.05 DC pump
  • Lighting - GNC Bluray M
  • Flow - Vortech MP10QD or Tunze 6055 + Tunze 6095
  • Heater - Schego 100W
  • Skimmer - LGMAquari Nano S
  • ATO - Tunze
  • Dosing - Kalk to start, then full DSR, probably using a GHL 2.1 doser slave connected to my Profilux system.
I am only waiting on the Reefer stand to arrive - it is on backorder, so will be approx 3 months until I get this wet. Pics to follow!

Congratulations on the new system - it sounds very nice!

...but three months waiting for a backorder!!! You must have more patience that I do!

Update - stand is now arriving early December rather than the 3 months originally promised.

Another month doesn’t mean too much having waited this long already. Haha
