Switch the return pump to two Vectras L1s. Was what the previous owner was running and he made me a awesome deal for them. Also the sump is 55x22x16. Not sure where I got the other dims from, old age catching up to me.

Proposed light layout. I used the shop lights are stand in for 60” Retrofits. The first option was my original plan, but after looking at my tanks in the fishroom, the point source/COB main LED cluster design of the lights does cause some shawdow problems. I think the second option may be what I go with. I like the T5s to help fill in the showdowed areas and since the tank will only be viewable from the front and one end. Only putting one set of T5s in the front makes sense.

Brought in about 500lbs of rock to start the Aquascape. This is about a 1/3 or the dry rock I’ve collected for the 580 eventually. Also have about 300lbs of live rock to choose from also.

Sorry been slow on updates. Work/vs life/vs my own stupidity have slowed me down over the last month. Think everything is back on a even keel and items are all shipped to the right people this time .

Tanks humming along and getting settled in. Need to finish the canopy and get the T5s installed. Other major area of work is wire org and getting the Apex programmed. Thanks again to Trido for helping with the scape and the Apex.

Slowly but surely, fighting some red Cyano right now. Corals are showing good growth though. Need to get Ozone up and going soon, plus return pumps still needs swapped out at some point.

Cats helped me drain my ATO into the bottom of the stand one day, working on a better solution for that. Also swapped all my light pucks to the newest version.

I was looking into Enivison to build me a similar size tank, probably 30 wide instead. How is the tank,?was it heavy? Do you prefer acrylic over glass now?
