Oh, I’m saying that 3/4” schedule 40 PVC pipe has an inside diameter very similar to 25mm metric pipe, thus flow restriction from an adapter would be somewhat negligible!

That will adapt you from metric to imperial with negligible restriction, yes!
Do they make a larger adapter? I was hoping to run 1" as far as I could on my return line. I know I could use another reducer but I would love to minimize the fittings.

If I had to guess, this is an unusual application from a residential or commercial plumbing perspective, given that you’re trying to both reduce in diameter, and adapt from metric to imperial in one part! — multi-function fittings exist within metric, and within imperial; but reducing and adapting in one isn’t a common need!
What I would do is: run 1” as far as possible to reduce frictional flow loss from what is likely an oversized pump, then adapt to 32mm metric, and reduce to 25mm! (You can then ideally manifold off the 1” segment for any equipment so the extra diameter gets fully utilized!)
