this is my jbj, been up for a few years, these are corals that range from 15-28 years old, started as frags, have been fragged, have been accidently broken, and still around. nothing fancy, no skimmer, no drop in box, no fuge, no led, heater, chemi pure in the last few years, rubble in the chamber, and mh. i use 2 rio 70's on a wavemaker for flow, 2 maxi 600's foe return pumps, hope you enjoy

That is the biggest colony I've ever seen! It's got to be the size of a cantaloupe.

One of my favorite corals.

No better example of the best that this hobby can be. No doubt, a great deal of patience required. You've got what we all need. How many of us are content to just wait, and watch stuff grow? Awesome! Way to go. More is seldom, really better. You put me to shame. You didn't do this with high tech and tons of money.

thank you all for the kind words. these have been in 4 different tanks over the years, the frogspawn was one big colony, i would guess almost basketball size, it broke i to 3 main pieces, and alot of single heads, only lost 3-4 heads. 5 gallons every week, instant ocean, sea chem calcium, mag, alk, tested weekly, mixed and added by a cup!. i feel the hands on makes you pay closer attention to your corals true needs. im going to bump to a 30x30x20 cube soon, frogspawn needs more room, its making the leather mad!

Thanks for sharing. I am on my second JBJ 28 gallon, great tanks for the KISS method. Amazing corals you have there. :)
i was apprehensive at first, this is the smallest tank ive kept them in, water tolerances worried me at first, but stabilized quick, thank you

i love all the nanos on this site, and the nano passion, huge tanks with reactors and gadgets are super cool, but i believe nanos bring reefing back to the science and chemistry of the basics
