I bought a used 29 gallon Bio cube in April 2011 off craigslist for my office. It was 2 years old, so I replaced all the bulbs with new 36 watt compacts. The tank came with a nice stand. I starting of by giving the tank a good cleaning, new sand new filter media. I added 2 stunner strips of led lights for additional lighting. I have a RBTA, Urchin pink

Very nice set up.
Elegance may be a bit hard to keep in that setup.
Do you have any additional filtration like a Protein Skimmer?
I see you have a Coral Banded Shrimp.
Those can be trouble.
I had 1 in my 125 that gave me no problems, but I put one in my 55 and he attacked everything.
I saw him grab a cleaner shrimp and just hold onto it until it was dead.
I was having fish disappear at random and when I removed him from the tank that stopped.
I haven't lost a fish since then.

Not saying you will have that problem, but keep an eye on it.

Good luck.

I have researched Elegance LPS and have discovered some have may issue due to SPS tanks may be too clean for them since they do grow in grass beds. They prefer a tank that’s not so clean so that makes a Biocube perfect. So since it does prefer low light I keep it in the 29 Biocube where it has grown huge over the year. I do have a Protein Skimmer and do water changes Bi-weekly. The Coral Banded shrimp now lives in my 150 tall tank at home. The Elegance coral is very aggressive and needs its room. Thanks

Your other posts that had the protein skimmer must have popped up as I was typing my response.
The CBS should be much easier to control in the 150. Like I said I never had a problem in my old 125, but when I put 1 on in 55 things started vanishing.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
