So I plan to be using an old 29 gallon biocube as a display refugium. It will be plumed into my 120 gal display sump. The display is bare bottom and so there is no sand in the display or sump, just live rock, rubble and marine pure. I want the external refugium to have multiple types of macro algae and a deep sand bed for those critters I cant keep in the display. I need help choosing the right amount of turnover since it is a refugium it doesn't need much flow. I have a sicce syncra 2.0 to use for the return. From sump to bulkhead of refugium will be about 4 ft. So would 3/4" soft tubing work for this or would 1" be a better choice? Also will the sicce 2.0 be enough flow?

If you plumb it with a gate valve in the line you can control the flow to the fuge at any rate you want. It might help you get more replies if you just told us what the flow rate of the Sicce 2.0 is in GPH. That way we don't have to look it up.
