Looks good. I have almost the same setup going in my home office soon. It's cycling in my basement now hopefully be ready next month. Nice to see there's a couple 29g Standards going here now.

Awesome!
Mine is in my office at work. I love having it there because I practically live there.

Where did you get a rimless 29 gallon? I want to get a rimless.

I love that crab:)

I know!
I hate that he is gone. I guess they are hard to keep. I will try one again someday

Looking good...we need a shot of the whole tank at once. I'm working on a office tank as well...need ideas!

Thanks!
Yes I will get a pic of the entire tank. I will also get a sump pic.
The only thing I want to change is getting a rimless tank and a drilled overflow and return. Right now I have HOB

It's not a true rimless. It's an old tank and the top frame was cracked so I took it off and replaced it with glass supports. I thought I would just need them on the corners but noticed a 1/16th of an inch bow in the middle on a test fill so I added a glass center brace. I hate the center brace. This size is the best fit for the space I have and I've been looking for a rimless 29 myself. Reefbuilders had an article about Aqueon making a 29 rimless last year.

I emailed Aqueon about it a month ago but got no reply. I just checked the Aqueon website today and they now have a 30g rimless with the same dimensions as a 29 (30.25" x 12.5" x 18.75").

Looks like some Petcos have them @ $129 (which I think is a great price).

I called my lfs today and they're going to see if they can order me one. It'll take a couple days to find out if they can get it or not. I also did a check on some zip codes for Petcos in my area and the closest store that has one in stock is an hour away. Give it a try maybe you can find one close to you.

If I can get a rimless 29 gallon I will more than likely just stick with that instead of a Red Sea

Unfortunately no petco close to me has one for sale. I will have to reach out to my local fish store and see if they can order one in for me.

I got two new corals!

about time aqueon stated making rimless tanks. wondered when they would catch on . now they need a rimless 40br :D
thanks for pointing that out!

nice tank BTW I love the mini maxis!

Thanks! I love them too! Maxi’s are super sticky and are really good at grabbing floating food. I want to get more but it seems like they are hard to find locally at times.

I am trying to source a rimless 29 gallon but it isn’t as easy as it should be. A rimless 40 would be amazing!
