My 40 gallon sump broke last night. I was wondering if a 29 gallon sump would be good for a 90 gallon tank. I'm in dire need to rebuild a new one. So any suggestion would be great or directions to build it. Thanks...

Personally would run down to local petco or whatever and buy the biggest stock size tank they have that’d fit inside stand that’s not too tall. Measure for dividers and go to local glass shop to buy them. Silicone dividers in place and be back in biz. In the meantime get a plastic bin of sorts to act as temp sump to keep things running

I don’t think you’ll have a problem. I have a DIY sump made out of a 25 gallon cube. There’s only 8 gallons of water in there. I just posted a photo showing the clarity of my 125 gallon tank.
